Fer el gest

Com aquell qui no fa res, fa pocs dies es reuneix novament la comissió de preus dels medicaments i aprova la incorporació de més medicaments al finançament públic sense valorar si hi ha pressupost o quin pressupost addicional es necessita per pagar-los. Normal, ells conviden i els catalans paguem. Les regles de la feble democràcia són aquestes fins que no siguin divolides. Un pot sortir al diari i demanar a una economia intervinguda que redueixi un 10% la despesa i al dia següent afegir-li obligacions de despesa al seu càrrec. Ep, i tant si vigiles com no a l'endemà t'inspecciona per veure si les retallades són excessives.
La incorporació de la píndola anticonceptiva al finançament públic en aquest moment esdevé un fet extemporani. Només pot tenir justificació si pel mateix import fem desaparèixer prestacions supèrflues que no afegeixen valor.
De la mateixa manera que no vam acceptar la reducció dels preus dels trens a càrrec del pressupost de la Generalitat, ara no podem acceptar una nova prestació sense el finançament corresponent. Per tant, només cal esperar una resposta del govern: que la prestació no sigui efectiva a Catalunya fins el dia que no enviïn el pressupost. Ja n'hi ha prou. Quin sentit té fer el gest i que pagui l'altre?

En Paul Gauguin si que va fer el gest de veritat en regalar aquesta testa a un nen de 9 anys!

Properament a Sotheby's a partir de 10 m $ Of the extraordinary works that Gauguin created in the South Pacific, it was his sculpture and carvings that the artist believed to be the most important of his creative

vision. Jeune tahitienne is an exceptional manifestation of Gauguin's accomplishments in this medium, and was carved during his first stay in Tahiti between 1890 and the summer of 1893. A few months after returning to Paris, Gauguin gave this sculpture to Jeanne Fournier, the nine-year-old daughter of the critic and collector Jean Dolent, having promised to bring her a gift from the tropics. In 1961, Fournier entrusted the sale
of this work to Father Celas Rzewuski, a member of the Dominican Order, who consigned it to Sotheby's in London, where it was purchased by the present owner. This is the first time that Jeune tahitienne has been on view to the public in half a century.
